In water I am like a brick, I am afraid of water

 just the same I am gravitate towards water, it calms me...

(I am blessed with living directly at the Eisenbach)

Purling music while painting in watercolours

For this week's drawing challenge I paint the Nile Delta (seen from high up)
 with the heart-shaped Faiyum Oasis.

In the year 2000 we were further to the south as we wanna get some refreshing. So we drove through the desert, leave the asphalt runway, high temperatures, all around us reddish sand, jolted on and reached finally some fertile green... behind it: 

the River Nile!

It was sweeping!

Later I ran out of water... so thirsty! took some water from a water seller at the roadside... I, well, I had it for a long time, if you know what I mean! Here in Hamburg we are spoiled by the water supply... one can drink it directly from the faucet without health effects.

Hauch von Frühling

 Frisch aus dem Winterquartier: die Hamburger Alsterschwäne.

Fresh from the winter habitat: the swans from the River Alster in Hamburg.

Es ist kalt und windig, dabei scheint die Sonne und manchmal tröpfelt es aus
bauschigen Wolken. Ich bin hundemüde, Kaffee hilft nur kurz... Frühjahrsmüdigkeit.
Vielleicht hilft Bewegung an der frischen Luft?... trinke gläserweise Wasser.

It is cold outside and windy, withal the sun is shining and sometimes it spots out of
bouffant clouds. I am bone-tired, coffee helps only for a short time... spring fever.
Maybe helps exercise in the fresh air?... drink by the glassful water...

Die Verkehrssituation war verheerend an diesem schönen, milden Abend. So kamen nur wenige in den Genuss von Barbara Bees Vernissage bei der Schickler Managementberatung.

The traffic situation was disastrous at this beautiful, soft evening. So only a few came to enjoy Barbara Bee's opening at the Schickler Managementberatung.

Im ältesten Haus der Hamburger Innenstadt werden wir sehr symphatisch bewirtet, Barbara führt uns durch Ihre Ausstellung und es ist alles ganz wunderbar (diese Energie!)

At the oldest building in the downtown Hamburg we are feasted most pleasant, Barbara guide us through her exhibition and it is all really wonderful (that energy!)

dc #131: CONNECTION (II)

I am connected with you... (even) via the moon.

 Every time I look at the moon, doesn't matter which lunar phase, I feel connected with you ALL. Feel connected cross-time zones and cross-border (like the space explorers at the 2nd dc in 2011).

Almost to the day 2 years ago I chose the same theme as Kristen today... connection :-)

For this week's dc (No 131!) I have photograph fresh pictures of the moon at Friday eve, have drawn the world with aquacolour (without engagement;-) and the moon. I have taken the position of each player here and connect it by a red thread with the moon.

I have felt love, LOVE! when I did my connection (II) and add it with photos of a tulip I have taken in the same manner as I showed you in connection (I).
