Past Present Future

I found again a single page of a little, handwritten baking recipe booklet, written by my great grandmother Lisette Müller, who was a cookee from the region of Southern Baden in Germany (she baked here No. 20 Bisquittorte/sponge cake from potato flour and sand cake with 8 eggs... maybe I will try that!)

Die Pflanzen sind dieses Jahr schnell... Holunderblüten! Jetzt schon?! Heute

The plants are fast this year... elderflowers! already?! Today
blows also withered blossoms of chestnut across the street...

I have tried a new cake mould (not the recipes:)
Time flies, we make plans... pack... in a jiffy I go to the parents' evening at the school of our youngest daughter. Excitement because of our meeting in Brussels (Barbara, Patrice, Nadine ... this lady for the very first time in real life!... and me! Yay!) sitting here with a big smile on my face, only twice more sleep... memory card (still) empty, full battery

and for the return journey: a stop at the Cologne Cathedral! (Have you got handy tips?)

Bis später! See ya later!
(I'd get some delicious food at your beautiful places, I know!)

PS: next host of the dc is Kristen at the weekend of the 17th + 18th of May
