Hoch oben blüht es Kastanien.

High above chestnuts blossoms.

Zwischen Job und Kinder von der Tagesmutter abholen 

passt noch ein black delight samt rascher Inspiration von dem Fräulein.

Between job and pick the children up at the childminder 

fits a black delight along with apace inspiration of the Fräulein.

Unten auf der Erde blüht es weiter.

Down on earth it blossoms onwards.

Und mein nächster Ausflug wird mich ins Jenisch Haus führen.

And my next getaway will lead me to the Jenisch House.

Drawing challenge: UNDERWATER LIFE/LOVE

 

Today at the Castle in the Eisenbach

the little mermaids are sitting at the jetty and bathes in the sun

like their ancestors: their great great Grandmother Sedna from Greenland and

their Danish-born great Grandmother Andersen 'Little Mermaid'

and all the sisters do at the beaches, cliffs and coasts all over the earth

 connected by water and times.

They talk to the enchanted swans about the pro and con 

of beeing a mermaid or a human – and that a morphing is irreversible.

„ Oh, wouldn't it be great that we have both, beeing a mermaid and a human?!“

Her voice had hardly faded away as

1...2...3... a swan brings a tidings and a sachet of a mysterious instant. 

 „Put a sprinkle of water to the sherbet powder and drink it from a shell 

and you will have both, beeing a mermaid and a human.“

So they do. 

Then they looks at their fin and

…Hey presto! as it would a numen... foam-arisen each of them gets two feet!

Lucky they bathes their feet in the Eisenbach and maybe they finds a Mermaid laughing and giggling in the deep, deep water...

Mutter und Töchter in der Sonne / Mother and daughters in the sun

Gleich nachdem 

die Königin von der Burg am Eisenbach 

zusammen mit ihren Töchtern ihren Sohn, den Prinzen zu einer Feier gebracht haben, fahren sie quer durch Hamburg nach Blankenese. 

Während der König daheim über der Steuererklärung brütet, genießen sie die 22°C im Hirschpark...

Right after 

the Queen of the Castle at the Eisenbach 

has brought together with her daughter her son, the Prince to a party, 

they drive straight through Hamburg to Blankenese. 

During the King breeds about the tax declaration at home, they enjoyes the 22°C at the Hirschpark (Deer park)...

haschen am Elbhang nach Mäusen...

snatches at mice at the hillside of the River Elbe...

genießen den Strand 

enjoyes the beach

und treffen Königinmutter zum Eis/Kaffee.

and meet Queenmom for ice cream/coffee.

 Die Fenster der Bahn zurück zur Burg sind mit Graffiti besprüht

The windows of the train back to the Castle are sprayed with graffiti

und in der Burg mag die Königin die Tulpen noch nicht wegwerfen.

and in the Castle the Queen don't wanna throwaway the tulips.

 

Ach ja, 

auf dem Flohmarkt ist sie auch gewesen und konnte der Spitze und dem alten Handtuch mit dem gestickten 'R' nicht widerstehen...

Es ist ein langes Wochenende gewesen mit dem Feiertag zum 1. Mai, die Kinder haben diese Woche Ferien, die Sonne scheint... und die Erklärung ist fast fertig.

Oh well, 

she has been to the fleamarket and couldn't resist the lace and the vintage towel with the embroidered 'R'...

It has been a long weekend with an official holiday of the first of May, the children have vacation this week, sun is shining... and the declaration is nearly done.
