Ich überlege, in welcher Farbe ich meine Kommode streiche. 

Patrice hatte die Idee zu einem 'gräuliches Grün'... und die Farbe gefällt mir gut! Ich habe noch ein kleines Töpfchen 'Absinthe', das gar nicht dem wirklichen Namensgeber entspricht: Viel sanfter und heller als der echte Absinth... und ein bisschen grau und grün.
Ich taste mich vor...

I consider about which colour I'll use for my bureau. 

Patrice has the idea for a 'greyish green'... and I like these colour a lot! I still have got a little potty 'absinthe', that doesn't looks like its name giver: much more meeker and brighter as the real Absinthe... and a bit grey and green.

Die Gerüstbauer haben den Ost- und den Westflügel der Burg am Eisenbach eingerüstet. Um meine Nerven zu beruhigen, hilft Schokolade... weiße, mit Champagner und Rosenwasser, mit Rosenblätten bestreut...

The scaffholders have erected a scaffolding around the east- and the west wing of the Castle at the Eisenbach. To steady my nerves, chocolate helps... white, with champagne and rosewater, strewed with rose petals...

For this work I've over painted some book pages ('Unter dem Zwillingsstern/Under the twin star' from T. Kinkel... yes, I've dare, dear Nadine!) and stick them in a spiral-bound notebook. I've drawed with pencil and with blue and red (female and male) crayon and yellow-gold, the colour for the upper unity.

I show here also a little hermit crab 'cause only a few hours later... my zodiac sign would be  the Crab.

Heute ist die Königin von der Burg am Eisenbach 

auf einer kleinen Weltreise gewesen:

Zuerst die Jüngste zur Schule gebracht, um dann die Gräfin von Eppenthorp 

zu einem freiheitlichen Caféplausch zu treffen...

Frl. Miezi in der eigenen Welt eines Krankenhauses besucht und dann
noch schnell nach Essen gejagt. 

Auf dem Isemarkt wunderschönem russischen Männergesang gelauscht und ihrer Schwester in Montréal am Handy zum Frühstück mitgeteilt... himmlisch!

Blumen gefangen... und nun, nun freut sie sich mit Lesefutter aus USA, Frankreich und Deutschland (Martha Stewart! Danke für den Hinweis, Lady Kate!) auf dem Schoß auf das Wochenende.

Da gibt es etwas zu tun... noch zu viele Ideen... muss ein bisschen reifen.


Today the Queen of the Castle at the Eisenbach 
has been on a small world trip: 
First brought the youngest to school, to meet the Countess of Eppenthorp for a liberal café chitchat than...
Visited Frl. Miezi in the separate world of a Hospital and later hunted for food.
At the Isemarked listened carefully to wonderful russian male choral and imparted them to her sister in Montréal via cellphone for breakfast... heavenly!
Snared flowers... and now, now is glad for readingfood from the USA, France and Germany (Martha Stewart! Thanks for the hint, Lady Kate!) onto her lap for the weekend.


There is something to do... still too many ideas... has to slightly ripen.

Als die Königin von der Burg am Eisenbach endlich niedersinkt auf den federnden Waldboden, ist ihr als höre sie ein leises Knistern und Wispern... Kichern! Kommt es von den Buschwindröschen?

As the Queen of the Castle at the Eisenbach finally alight on the elastic forest floor, its like she listens a susurration and soft murmurs... giggle! Coming from the wood anemones?

 Elfen...?! Fairies...?!

Im Haus am See ist Ruhe, Frieden und Lachen.

In the Lake House is repose, peace and laughter.
