 Wegen uns musste keine Gans dran glauben.

 Wir haben uns den Bauch mit anderen Leckereien gefüllt :) 

Die Jüngste hat in der Schule eine Olchi*-Laterne gebastelt. Am Montagabend werden wir das Licht entzünden und mit all den Anderen singend am Eisenbach entlang laufen.

The Youngest has made a Olchi*-latern at school. At Monday evening we will kindle the lights and go singing along the Eisenbach with all the others.

Achtern Diek

 Achtern Diek liegt der Garten der Isolde.

Behind the dike is the garden of Isolde.

 Von der Bushaltestelle sind es circa 20 Minuten zu laufen. 
Irgendwie erinnert mich die Gegend an Finnland... vielleicht ist es die Mischung aus Natur und Melancholie oder, weil Isolde im hohen Norden ihre Wurzeln hat?

From the bus station are about 20 minutes to walk.
 Somehow the area reminds me on Finland... maybe it is the mixture of natur and melancholy or, because Isolde has got her roots in up north?

 Wir beginnen sofort mit dem Laubharken

We start immediately to rake the leaves

und später machen wir uns mit floraler Beute und Äpfeln auf den Heimweg.

and later we set off for home with floral swag and apples.
