Die Zeit fliegt

Morgens fahre ich zur Arbeit
und nachmittags in die alte Heimat.

Auf dem Bunker genieße ich Sicht und Sonne und warte

 In the morning I drive to work 
and afternoons to my old home. 
On top of the bunker I enjoy the view and sun and wait

warte darauf, dass die Kinder für heute fertig sind mit ihrem Ferienprogramm (Sport). 

Ich stromere durch das Schulgebäude... meine alte Schule... mein Körper erinnert sich, kennt die Wege... da ist der Brunnen (Kein Trinkwasser)... 
da geht es doch zum Hintereingang der Bühne?... da

wait for, that my children are ready with their holiday program (sports).

I wander around the schoolhouse... my old school... my body remembers, knows the ways... there is the fountain (Not for drinking!)...
 there is the way to the back way to the stage, no?... there

die Bühne! wie klein die ist! genau wie die Sporthalle! klein!

Beides Orte, an denen ich gern war (im Gegensatz zum Chemieraum)... und sehr merkwürdig ist es nach Jahrzehnten... zig Jahrzehnten! nun meine Kinder hier zu sehen.

Both places where I liked to be (contrary to the stinks classroom) ... and very peculiar after decades... umpty-ump decades! it is to see my children here now.

Am Eisenbach weht ein Lüftchen...

At the Eisenbach there is a breeze...

und irgendwie fliegt die Zeit...

ich beginne mich schon auf Hortensien und Hagebutten zu freuen :)

and anyhow time flies...

I start to look forward for hydrangea and rose hips already :)

Nachdem sich die Königin in der Burg am Eisenbach

 im Kochbuch genug den Mund wässerig gelesen hatte, fängt sie an zu kochen.

After reading in a cookery book the mouth is watering of the Queen of the Castle

 at the Eisenbach and she starts with cooking.

Freitag ist Fischtag

Hier gab es am letzten Freitag keinen Fisch... jedenfalls nicht auf der Speisetafel

There was no fish last Friday here... anyhow not on the menu

und diese Möven hätten am Eisenbach leichtes Spiel gehabt...

and thoses seagulls would have had an easy job of it at the Eisenbach...

Schon fast eine Woche sind wir wieder hier in der Burg:

ich gehe ich wieder einkaufen, koche selbst... den Haushalt und...

Already nearly one week we are back in the Castle:

I go shopping again, do the cooking by myself... the household and...

 schiebe Möbel, schleppe Magazine... bereite die nächste Renovierung vor (jippieh!)... mache langsam.

push furniture, heft mags... prepare the next renovation (yay!)... do it slowly.

... Bernstein!?

 Der Blick aus dem Fenster am Morgen... lässt uns vor Freude an den Strand springen!

The view out of the window in the morning... makes us leap for joy to the beach!

ein bisschen träges Lesen in der Sonne... ein bisschen planschen 

some lazy reading in the sunshine... a little splash

 

und abends... and in the evening...

ein Gewitter! a thunderstorm!

laut... gewaltig! mit heftigem Regen... 

loud... phenomenal! with heavy rain...

Am nächsten Tag... At the next day... 

finde ich viele Muscheln, ein paar Mövenfedern und... Bernstein!?

I find many shells, some feathers of seagulls and... amber!?

 Ich bin mir nicht sicher... 
es wird davor gewarnt, dass Phosphor aus den II. Weltkrieg angeschwemmt wird, das dem Bernstein zum Verwechseln ähnlich sieht... 

Ein Glas Leitungswasser soll mir zeigen, ob es vielleicht Plastik ist?... dann würde es schwimmen und nicht untergehen (in einem Glas mit Salzwasser würde der Bernstein dann schwimmen)

Ich lege vorsichtshalber alle drei Steine, die ich gefunden habe hinein... wenn es Phosphor sein sollte, würde es im nassen Zustand sich nicht entzünden. 

Im Smartphone suche ich weitere Informationen. 
Die reinsten Horrorbilder von Verletzungen durch Phosphor tauchen auf und ich wünschte, rasch Klarheit über meine Steine zu haben... die im Glas mit Leitungswasser auf den Grund gesunken sind...

I am not sure... 
there is a warning, that phosphor from the WWII washed ashore, which looks like amber...

A glass of piped water shall show me, if it is maybe plastic?... then it would swim and not go down (in a glass with saltwater would amber swim)

To be on the safe side I put all the three stones into the water... if it should be phosphor, it wouldn't inflame in the wet state. 

In the smartphone I am searching for more informations. 
The purest pics of horror from hurt by phosphor arises and I wish to have clearness about my stones rapidly... which has sank into the glass of piped water...
