Pfingsten/Whitsun

The 50th Birthday of Lady S. from N. nearby H.
and Whitsun are one day this year.
So she is serenaded by the children, that doing the move with
the handcart adorned with flowers.
We are sitting in the garden under the trees with sundry dainties and celebrate her,
before we drive home in high spirits.

 How was your weekend?

Drawing challenge #20: BALANCE

Balance...

Balance...
the more I've occupied with this theme, I've noticed how much balance is (necessary) in our life.
For my pencil drawing I've brought some colour into play as balance.
Between two trees there is a slackline stretched on it a man balancing.

For Descartes a tree is an allegory for the prof of the existence of God: a tree has got a visible crown and a unvisible roots. Ergo, something unvisible for us can exist after all.

To hold the balance a middle is needful, but she isn't by the half ever... even the focus is relavant. The lower it is the more stable the balance.
I've never been on a slackline (by now), would check it out too much!

In the meantime I'm trying to hold the balance with my estate in the Castle. In the process is the quantity of high relevance. The more dishes I've got the more difficult to manage...

BALANCE is the theme for this week's drawing challenge.

The excitement
has driven me out of the castle to the Binnenalster. A breath of air bears small beads from the fountaine as I walk over the Lombardsbridge.

Dann:

Then:
in the inner yard of the Hamburg Town Hall we are meeting us in real life...
Julia and me.

Wunderbar, vertraut und herzlich.

Wonderful, intimate and heartily.

Ich freue mich auf eure 'Balance'.

I look forward to your 'balance'.

Drawing challenge #19: EVERYDAY LIFE

Sometimes I feel like a sponge.
I absorb anything - and at times myself... When the daily routine seems to me as if he is only from endless recurrently, humdrum actions...

...often with the clock in the neck as well.

Zwischen Wäsche und...

Between washing and...

und (riskanter) Essenszubereitung...

and (riskier) food preperation...

mache ich mir einen Kaffee...

I make me some coffee...

und genieße den Duft der Honigblume.

and enjoy the fragrance of Honeyflower.

liebe Freunde treffe.

It's nice,
if I'm able to escape from my household, served in a café and meet lovely friends.

However, actually I ought to express myself and first of all run dry. Hence opening the view for rhythm of returning things of daily routine, which shall be done, even as breath air and breath out and the movement of heart... ordinary, everyday life.

This week's drawing challenge is hosted by lovely, busy Elisabeth. Please come to her place to have a look at other everyday lifes full of surprises.
